A careful transition is planned for each child to the toddler room.
Older babies and toddlers spend time with their new key worker
in their new surroundings to help a smooth and happy transition. We work closely with parents to meet the needs of each individual child
Toddlers have lots of energy and there are opportunities throughout the day for outdoor play in our nursery garden for fresh air and exercise.
We encourage toddlers to learn about themselves ,explore their environment and the world we live in.Your child will have opportunities to be creative with paint and explore other media ,water and sand ,sensory activities ,play and have fun with other children.We encourage a love of listening to stories,dancing,singing and playing with musical instruments.
We encourage language development and interaction between adults and children throughout the day. As children develop we encourage them to play together and to follow their own interests.
